Pitch, Hit & Run is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball. This grassroots program is designed to provide youngsters with an opportunity to compete, free of charge, in a competition that recognizes individual excellence in core baseball/softball skills. Boys and girls are divided into four age divisions: 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14 and have the chance to advance through four levels of competition, including Team Championships at Major League ballparks and the National Finals at the 2016 MLB All-Star Game.
This exciting and fun-filled event had to be rescheduled due to rain. Many have already registered and your registrations will still be honored on event day. We will have food, fun and entertainment as well as one of the finest PHR competitions that will be held. The first 100 participants to register will receive a t-shirt to be worn in the competition. Tips on pitching, hitting and running in the competition will also be given. Registrations for little league and other high quality summer programs will also be available.
All participants must bring a copy of their birth certificate and have their parent or guardian fill out a registration/waiver form prior to the start of the competition. All birth certificates will remain the property of the parent/guardian, but age and identity must be verified for complete registration. For questions concerning the competition, please contact the Local Coordinator, Our Steps are Ordered at 630-750-1630 or visit www.OurStepsAreOrdered.com for more information or online registration. PARTICIPATION IS FREE!
